This blog is created to be a journal of my children. The purpose of it is to record moments I don't want to forget...moments I want my children to read someday.

Lachoneus Glen was born July 7, 2008. I was buzzing Sterling's hair when we learned it was time to go to the hospital and have the baby. It was a Sunday night and we were getting ready for the work week.
We lived so close to the base that I finished buzzing Ster's hair and let him shower before we left for the hospital.

It was not yet 9pm when we got to the hospital and Luke wasn't born until 2pm the next afternoon.

Lachoneus was normal sized all through my pregnancy but was born very big...a week after the due date. We someone became a small baby and small child down the road.

Tiberias James was born August 19, 2010. I went to the doctor to see if the baby was going to come earlier than the due date. Shortly after getting home from the hospital I went into labor. Tiberias was born after 10pm that same night!
Tiberias was really big throughout the pregnancy...almost too big for the doctors. Born over a week earlier than the due date was a big baby but not as big as Luke had been. And at 3 months he's still big for his age.

About two weeks ago Tiberias started teething. A few days ago he started playing with toys and liking toys.

Potty training Lachoneus. Around his 2nd birthday we bought a frog potty. Luke did wonderful! He was using the potty when we told him to. So we bought him some underwear. But he disliked the underwear and did not want to give up his diapers. So he quit cooperating. So we let him wear diapers until the last week of November that same year. He started putting his hand in his diaper when he was poopy and pulling out some to show me. He knows how to talk but would not tell me if he was poopy. He would just show me. I was trying to wait until he could tell me he was about to pee or poop but this nasty new method of letting me know he's stinky is too much. So we pulled out his potty and underwear and are trying really hard to get him trained this week.

Lachoneus always loved climbing even as a baby. At one year old he was a little monkey. He loved being up high too. He would climb his parents...up onto the shoulder and to the head as if trying to get even higher. It was too funny. We started calling him our little monkey. Being thin he really was our little monkey.

Tiberias was born looking more like a bear cub than a monkey. And I started calling him my Tybear shortly after he was born.
